Josh grew up in Montgomery, MA. He then want on to excel in the classroom and on the basketball court at Mass College of Liberal Arts, where he graduated at the top of his business class as President of the National Business Honor Society, in 1999. Josh graduated with a BS in Business Finance/Economics. He coveted many awards and records while at MCLA, and finished his career as the 3rd all-time leading scorer in the college’s history. Josh has been inducted into his H.S. & collegiate Hall of Fame’s. Athletics and team building have always been a mainstay in his life.
Josh’s family and friends have had an enormous impact on who he is today. Josh is happily married to Ashey F. Thielen, M.D., from Springfield, MA and has 3 children, Maya, Avery, & Emrys.
He is a big believer in relationship building and thinks that a person’s true net worth can be measured by their network. His personal approach to serving his clients and the relationships developed after nearly 20 years in business are a testimony to his focus on cultivating long term success.
Josh understands that each transaction is unique in itself because each client brings their own history and challenges to the table. It’s his intention to have a clear understanding of his clients goals and what they’re ultimately trying to accomplish by purchasing real estate.
Josh’s professional background includes being an owner and VP of Sales & Marketing of a New England based mortgage brokerage. During his time away from the mortgage industry his professional experiences have included becoming a licensed Financial Adviser with Morgan Stanley, a licensed Real Estate Agent, and a position as a Senior Account Manager in product manufacturing and distribution.
