I have been in the mortgage business for almost five years now, after twenty plus years in traveling sales all around the world. I loved my jobs, but I just got tired of being away from my beautiful wife and kids, so I needed a change. In October of 2013 after we sold the company that I was working for, and I randomly met my branch manager at a golf tournament, due to friends scheduling error. He asked what I did for a living and I said nothing right now and he said I should look into the mortgage business. He kept after me and I finally jumped into the business after the first of the year.
