    With a good credit profile and a down payment above 3%, the conventional loan may be a powerful tool for your purchase. 

    If your credit score is 620 or higher, you may qualify for a “conforming” conventional loan at Northern. If your credit score is in the 700s, you may qualify for more favorable terms.

    Like all loan programs, eligibility is based on a range of factors— income and credit health are only two elements. A loan officer can determine your eligibility for a conventional loan or similar loan types!
